You can find the programme of the European Seminar Halki 2014 here.

The 11th Annual European Seminar of ELIAMEP took place at the island of Halki, near Rhodes, between the 3rd and 6th of July, 2014. The theme of this year’s seminar was: ‘Integration or Disintegration? Which way forward for Europe?’ This year the European Seminar took place a short while after the European Parliament elections. In the light of election results, it had the opportunity to examine the different dimensions of the European crisis, the delicate equilibrium prevailing within the euro area and beyond, the centrifugal forces that have been gaining strength between and within countries and the risks of disintegration, controlled or otherwise. From the safe haven of a small island in the Dodecanese, attempted to map out the uncharted waters lying ahead for the common currency, the quality of democracy and the future of European integration.
